Measure aldehyde residue on the surfaces you actually touch.
This complements the airborne formaldehyde badge by measuring residue settled on surfaces - relevant after fumigation, on new furniture and laminate, or in spaces using glutaraldehyde/glyoxal disinfectants.
Formaldehyde is a known carcinogen and respiratory irritant; glutaraldehyde is a strong sensitizer that can trigger occupational asthma and dermatitis.
Wipe a measured surface area with the DNPH-treated pad using gloves, seal it in the vial, and return per instructions.
The DNPH-treated wipe traps aldehydes on contact; the lab runs HPLC (EPA TO-11A adapted for wipes) to quantify each aldehyde on the surface.
Independently operated, with no ties to filter or remediation companies. Every sample is analyzed by an accredited partner laboratory under EPA-referenced methods, with a documented chain of custody — and your data is yours.
