← Not sure? Find my test I'm near a landfill / airport / industry

When there's a source nearby, guessing isn't good enough.

Proximity to certain operations — industrial sites, airfields where firefighting foam was used, or landfills — is associated with specific contaminants in groundwater. Proximity doesn't prove contamination, which is exactly why you measure it.

What to test for

For source-driven concerns, two panels do most of the work:

  • PFAS (25-compound panel, EPA 533) — the “forever chemicals” linked to industry, airfields and landfills
  • VOCs — fuel and solvent compounds from industrial and commercial sources
  • Heavy metals — where industrial discharge is a concern
  • Nitrate — near agriculture
